This year, export price of leather clothing is projected to rise as compared to previous year.
Due to hike in salary and cost of leather, about 87 percent of units are expected to increase export prices in 2007 and their exports will be mainly concentrated in luxury clothing markets of EU and US.
At present, about six percent of units will increase prices of leather clothing by 10 to 15 percent, about 52 percent of units will raise prices by five to ten percent and 42 percent of units will hike prices less than five percent.
