A delegation consisting of ten people from Chinese companies and Ningbo Garment Association visited Vietnam recently to seek trade opportunities. They toured a number of cities and also called on Vietnam Textile Group and Vietnam Investment Service Center.
At present, 2,000 Vietnamese apparel enterprises import raw materials from neighbouring Asian countries, process them into garments and then export them to US and EU.
Delegation members expressed that Vietnamese garment sector has grown rapidly despite lack of investment.
Vietnam exports fabric accessories, textile machinery and products to China. It also provides professional services for training workers, logistics support and design.
