Citizens of Sydney will soon be seen drying their clothing in balconies, because Marrickville Greens Councilor Sam Byrne is encouraging builders to design apartments in such a way that people can hang wet washing on clothes lines instead of using dryers.
Lesser utilization of clothe dryers is good for the environment. But Sydney Mayor Morris Hanna is supporting the dryer, as many families are dependant on this machine.
People who have to wash large number of clothes everyday find the dryer comfortable since it saves a lot of labour. Further, hanging out clothes spoils the look of apartments.
It is up to the public to either prefer using dryers for saving hard work or hanging clothes to get dried under the sun.
