The US International Trade Commission (USITC) is seeking inputs on a new investigation into proposed modifications of the US-Korea Free Trade Agreement (KORUS) rules of origin. The investigation was requested by the US Trade Representative (USTR) in a February letter that included an attachment detailing the textile and apparel items affected by the proposed modifications.

The USITC expects to submit its advice to the USTR by June 24. A public version of the report, with all confidential business information deleted, will be released as soon as possible thereafter, according to an USITC press release.

The USITC will not hold a public hearing in connection with the investigation, and only welcomes written submissions. (DS)
