The United Kingdom is keen to expand its investment in Bangladesh, British high commissioner to the latter Robert Chatterton Dickson recently said while visiting the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Shilpa Nagar (BSMSN) in Mirsharai and Sitakunda sub-districts of Chittagong and Sonagazi Upazila of Feni. He said he will encourage the UK business community to invest in the country.He was accompanied by International Finance Corporation country manager for Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal Martin Holtmann, according to Bangla media reports.
During the visit, Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) officials briefed the envoy about various development activities, investment proposals, industrial installations, one- stop service centre and service management offered.
