Don your little ones in bright colours, especially when they are playing outside in the wintry twilight, advises German Traffic Safety Council (GTSC) to parents.
This important advice came as drivers are unable to see them in dark. Children if dressed in dark clothes will be prone to accidents.
The advice is also for senior citizens also as they take more time to cross road, said the Council.
Normally, drivers can hardly spot out pedestrians dressed in dark clothes from a distance of 25 metres, but in bright clothing they can be eyed farther at 90 metres.
As the reflection of outerwear is visible from a distance of 150 metres, white or yellow clothing is ideal for all.
