CPSC recalls Macy's infants' jackets due to choking hazard

Consumers should stop using this product unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

Recall Summary

Name of product: Infants’ First Impressions Varsity Jackets

Hazard: The snaps on the jackets can come off, posing a choking hazard.

Recall Details

Units: About 8,700

Description: This recall involves infants’ snap-up jackets with hoods. The hooded jackets come in navy blue with green and turquoise trim, or gray with yellow sleeves and navy and yellow trim.  Style number 1300 is found on the label sewn into the side seam and the UPC code is found on the product hangtag.

Incidents/Injuries: No injuries reported.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to the place of purchase for a refund of the purchase price. Consumers who purchased the product from www.macys.com should return the recalled products to their nearest Macy’s store or use the return shipping label enclosed with their original mail order.
