Cotton clothing has always been regarded as a kind of leisure outfit worn on informal occasions as they can be put on even after they have faded or got crumpled.
However, Beijing Institute of Clothing Technology (BICT) has urged people to shatter this conventional belief because designers of the University have designed a new kind of cotton clothing, which can be worn at formal occasions, too.
The BICT designers presented their designs during a competition titled 'cotton beyond your thought', held by BICT and a cotton manufacturer based in USA on May 29, last.
These designs on display were made from cotton materials, were divided into 4 categories: household clothing, office clothing, outdoor clothing and festival clothing.
