Efforts to expand trade through comprehensive, permanent and reciprocal trade relations around the world and through other forms of trade liberalization have opened foreign markets for the apparel industry and, in turn, have grown our global economy to what it is by creating mutual opportunities that benefit everyone around the world.
At the cutting edge of trade, the apparel industry should actively support trade liberalization and aggressively pursue the opportunities that these programs create.
