Bucharest based stockings and lingerie maker Adesgo has bagged €6 million loan from Romania's EximBank, local media reported.

Adesgo, the largest producer of stockings and lingerie in Romania, will use funds to finance its current activity, and also invest in upgrading some of its workplaces, EximBank said in a statement.

Adesgo's Bucharest factory has monthly production capacity of more than one million pairs of stockings and over 600,000 lingerie pieces. The factory currently employs 225 people.

In 2015, Adesgo, which sells its products under Diamond brand, posted net profit of €258,543, down 9.6 per cent year-on-year, while its turnover increased six per cent to around €14 million, according to the data on the finance ministry's website.

Adesgo also produces stockings for international high profile brands such as Cacharel, Spanks, Tesco, Hema, Tu, and Intersport. (RKS)
