BGMEA, CMP collaborate for RMG sector peace in Bangladesh's Chittagong

Commissioner Krishna Pada Roy of the Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) emphasised collaborative efforts with Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) to uphold a peaceful working environment and ensure law and order in the garment industry.

This commitment was voiced during a courtesy meeting with BGMEA leaders at the CMP Commissioner’s office in Dampara, in the port city of Chittagong.

Led by police commissioner Krishna Pad Roy, the CMP delegation hosted BGMEA first vice president Syed Nazrul Islam alongside other senior BGMEA officials.

Present at the meeting were BGMEA vice president Rakibul Alam Chowdhury, director AM Shafiul Karim (Khokon), M. Ehsanul Haque, newly elected director Amjad Hossain Chowdhury, Mohammad Rakib Al Nasser, and Gazi Md Shahid Ullah, along with CMP additional police commissioner Traffic, Masud Ahmed.
