The DFP will act as a unified digital tool to streamline data management, simplify sustainability reporting, and reduce audit fatigue across factories. By leveraging AI-driven analytics and a standardised compliance framework, the initiative aims to help factories meet international buyers’ ESG requirements and strengthen Bangladesh’s position as a preferred global sourcing destination, BGMEA said in a media release.
Speaking at the announcement, Mahmud Hasan Khan, president of BGMEA, underlined the importance of embracing digital innovation to sustain long-term growth and ethical manufacturing.
The vice-presidents and directors of the association also highlighted the potential of the DFP to position Bangladesh as a leader in responsible manufacturing.
Representatives from Digital Bridge Partners reiterated their commitment to driving digital transformation in Bangladesh’s garment industry, supporting a more transparent and resilient ecosystem through digital solutions, added the release.
