At the recently concluded Garment Technology Expo (GTE) 2024 in Bangalore, Brother International (India) unveiled its latest range of flatbed and multi-needle machines, designed specifically for new entrepreneurs in the garment industry. With a focus on small business owners, fashion students, and boutique operators, Brother India’s offerings cater to the growing demand for customised monogramming and fashion designs.

Speaking to Fibre2Fashion, Rudra Pratap, National Sales Head of Brother India, highlighted the company’s flatbed machines and single-head, multi-thread cylinder bed machines. These machines allow for monogramming on shoes, caps, and back neck designs, making them ideal for small-scale manufacturers. “We are targeting the entrepreneurial segment, including small boutiques and fashion students, with machines that offer versatility and precision,” Pratap said.

The products showcased at GTE 2024 were specifically designed to address current market trends, including the growing demand for customised apparel and monogramming.

Pratap noted that while Chinese machines have gained traction due to their low prices, Brother India’s machines stand out due to their superior quality, technology, and reliable sales and service support. Brother India is focused on providing comprehensive training to its customers, ensuring they can use the machines efficiently while improving their skills. “We offer strong after-sales support and training to help entrepreneurs enhance their production capabilities,” he added.
