Cambodia's apparel exports down 17.36% to $5,929 mn in Jan-Sept 2023

During the period under review, Cambodia&#**;s exports of apparel and clothing accessories (knitted) (Chapter **) amounted to $*,***.*** million, a decrease of **.* per cent compared to $*,***.*** million in the corresponding period of ****. Exports of apparel and clothing accessories (not knitted) (Chapter **) fell by **.* per cent to $*,***.*** million, down from $*,***.*** million in January-September ****. This decline is attributed to reduced global demand. 

In September ****, Cambodia&#**;s apparel exports declined by *.* per cent to $***.*** million, compared to $***.*** million in the same month of ****. The shipment of apparel and clothing accessories (knitted) eased by *.* per cent to $***.*** million, down from $***.*** million during the corresponding period last year. Meanwhile, exports of apparel and clothing accessories (not knitted) declined by * per cent to $***.*** million in September ****.
