Consolidate turnover rises 5.4% at Van de Velde in 2015

Van de Velde, a Belgium based luxury and fashion lingerie company, reported a rise of 5.4 per cent in its 2015 consolidate annual turnover which increased to €209 million as compared to consolidate annual turnover of €198.4 million in 2014, according to a press statement released by the company.

The company reported growth in all its segments like lingerie, stayers and beachwear. A rise of 5.7 per cent in its 2015 wholesale turnover was reported.

Despite a slight fall in the retail turnover of Rigby & Peller USA because of a stronger dollar as compared to euro, a rise of 5.8 per cent was reported in Van de Velde's retail turnover at Europe on a like-for-like basis. A growth of 7.1 per cent was reported in Van de Velde Germany and 5.7 per cent in Van de Velde Netherlands.

The full results for fiscal year 2015 will be announced on 24 February, 2016. (MCJ)
