Though every industrial revolution results in radical changes, future technologies will not replace human skills. On the contrary, digitalisation of production will require upgrading of skills to make workers interact with the new tools made available by Industry 4.0, according to Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machinery (ACIMIT) director Federico Pellegata.
ACIMIT is a 60-year-old private non-profit association that promotes the Italian textile machinery sector and supports and promotes its activity, primarily abroad.Though every industrial revolution results in radical changes, future technologies will not replace human skills.
