Huebsch Services, which provides work uniforms, floor mats and cleaning supplies to a variety of industries in western Wisconsin and the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area, has received a US methods, programmes and systems patent for garment processing. The patented method ensures unparalleled garment delivery accuracy after laundering.

“We’re certainly proud of this patent award. Yet we’re particularly proud that it represents what matters most to us – our unwavering commitment to high levels of customer care for more than 125 years,” said Jim Vaudreuil, fourth generation Huebsch Services chief executive officer.

The patent award recognises Huebsch for software and process innovations made to their customer-focused production process, which features a cellular garment handling approach and UHF radio frequency technology. Cellular plant methodology is unique in an industry that typically relies on processing enormous quantities of garments in bulk.

The newly patented innovations and cellular production methods ensure unparalleled garment delivery accuracy after laundering, along with the flexibility to launder more specialised garments for customers who expect more brand customisation and greater inventory control.

Huebsch serves thousands of companies in a wide variety of industries, including retail, healthcare, hospitality, property management, food service, and others. It enjoys one of the industry’s highest customer retention rates thanks to their constant attention to the fine details of garment processing, such as careful inspections and prompt repairs. (SV)
