The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) has announced the appointment of Aanurag Dhoot as senior director – marketing. In this key leadership role, Dhoot will be spearheading special projects and strategic initiatives for the association, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive business development, marketing communications, promotions, and partnerships, CMAI said in a press release.CMAI is the most representative association of the Indian apparel industry having over 4000 members and serving more than 20,000 retailers. Its membership consists of manufacturers, exporters, brands, and ancillary industry.
