EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation) for the quarter ended on September 30, 2021, rose to ₹62.0 crore (Q2 FY21: ₹35.6 crore).

“The financial results for the second quarter of FY21-22 indicates that the company has been able to align itself with its growth trajectory as we have witnessed a greater demand for our products in the market,” Vinod Kumar Gupta, managing director at Dollar Industries Limited, said in a press release.

Profit after tax (PAT) for the premium innerwear manufacturer surged by 84.4 per cent to ₹41.2 crore (₹22.3 crore), while operating expenses totalled to ₹328.9 crore (₹222.2 crore).

“This October, we launched our first exclusive brand outlet (EBO) in Ayodhya and also plan to launch similar outlets pan-India. We would continue to focus on increasing our reach and range at the retail level to grow further,” Gupta concluded.
