Fabindia showcasing 'Ajrakh' - traditional block prints

From bold to intricate, simple to elaborate - 'ajrakh' one of the most specialised and finest block printing technique from Kutch, is beautifully used in Fabindia's exclusive collection of garments. Ajrakh comes from the word 'aaj rakh- meaning keep it today and 'blue' in Arabic , signifies the highly skill intensive process that uses resist and mordanting techniques and indigo dye which creates a wonderful print and depth of colour not achievable through surface printing.

With a special ajrakh garments from 29th to 31st July, Fabindia is showcasing its wide variety of Indian and western wear for men and women.

Offering an exciting combination of contemporary cuts and silhouettes with traditional ajrakh prints, the range for women extends from long and short kurtas, to tunics and button down dresses.
