A|X Armani Exchange, the youthful fashion label created by Italian designer Giorgio Armani, will open a new 240 sq m outlet in Melbourne on October 22.

The fashion brand, which is celebrating its 20th year in 2011, will offer its customers at the new store a preview of its latest Summer 2011 collection through a live model installation.

The launch of the flagship store will coincide with the commencement of 'Style Splash', the A|X Armani Exchange Summer advertising campaign.

This would be the second major advertising campaign launched by the retailer this year. Earlier in March this year, the brand had launched its Autumn/Winter 2011 3D campaign in Sydney, where it allowed customers to capture 3D images and video using supplied glasses.

Currently, A|X Armani Exchange has 201 stores worldwide.
