In December 2011, RYU became an official sponsor of the UFC and will be visible in various elements throughout the UFC events in 2012 including logo displays and live announcements during bouts along with television promotions and placement on the UFC website including their webstore.
To-date, elite professional athletes such as Top UFC Welterweight Jon Fitch, Top UFC Bantamweight TJ Dillashaw, 2011 Mr. Olympia Phil Heath, Boston Red Sox Outfielder Darnell McDonald and one of the World's Top Ultra Endurance Athletes Christian Isaakson have been selected to RYU's athlete brand representation roster.
