Trend-led international fashion brand Pepe Jeans London is extending its global reach with a significant series of retail openings. Running concurrently with the brand’s retail expansion strategy in the Middle East, Latin America, Northern Europe, Eastern Europe & Japan, South-East Asia has also been targeted for an exciting series of openings.

In South-East Asia Pepe Jeans London has signed retail expansion agreements with some of the biggest operating groups in the sub-continent.

Planned over the next three-to-five years the expansion strategy kicked off with a dramatic flagship store which opened in December 2011 in the premium KLCC shopping mall, located inside the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This opening was followed by a new store in Mid Valley (Kuala Lumpur) and two more are also set to open this year: one in Pavilion (Kuala Lumpur) and the other one in Guvney Plaza (Penang).

Expansion in Malaysia is supported by a retail strategy in Thailand where Pepe Jeans London has entered into an association with Central Group, one of the most important fashion players in Thailand. Pepe Jeans London’s first standalone in Thailand is expected before the end of 2012. As part of the association with Central Group seven additional Pepe Jeans London corners have been opened in Robinson and Zen department stores.

There will be ten by the end of the year. Additionally, in the fourth quarter of this year a standalone store is set to open in the Philippines.

Globally, Pepe Jeans London operates 113 flagship stores, 275 franchises and 31 outlets.
