Eclat Textile Co. Ltd., a leading Taiwanese clothing manufacturer, is expecting good growth in second-half of the current year.

The company has received adequate orders from clients in the US and Asia to last till April next year, in spite of the impact of European debt crisis.

Industry analysts expect Eclat to increase its sales revenue by 15 percent year-on-year in 2012, of which the revenue from the fabric division will grow by 10-12 percent y-o-y while that from the apparel segment is likely to rise at over 20 percent y-o-y.

Eclat’s customers in the US, Europe and Japan have witnessed good sales until now this year, particularly in sportswear like jogging suits, and hence they are placing more orders with the Taiwanese company.

As its production units are overflowing with orders, Eclat is constructing a production unit in Cambodia, which will manufacture 300,000-320,000 apparel pieces per month when production begins in April-May 2013.

The company is also considering a second-stage expansion of its Vietnam-based plant.

During the initial five months of 2012, Eclat’s sales totaled NT$ 4.553 billion (US$ 15.11 million), registering a surge of 24.21 percent over total sales achieved during the corresponding period of 2011.
