Trousers:
The trend for sports jackets also highlights new colours, fabrics and styles for trouser and knitwear separates this season providing a new interest in the ranges offered. There is a revival of flannel trousers in mélanges, but also with small designs and fancy checks.

The city casual look also favours a product mix and layering of wool jackets and/or knitwear, with cotton trousers that are offered in 'wool look' and typical 'wool designs/handles'. Styling is mainly flat front with no turn-ups/cuffs.

Knitwear:
Fancy knitwear design was strong with intarsia, small jacquards or even typical weaving designs like Herringbone, or dogstooth. Wool and cashmere were the dominating fibres, sometimes mixed with fine cotton or silk.

The matching knitwear for separate trouser ranges were again looking slightly more bulky but again not heavy. The knitwear offer for the season showed different trend directions in the use of colour and design, one trend was for very bright rainbow colours but with alternative options for wintery pastels.

Coats:
The trend continued for overcoats in the city casual outdoor style with Pure New Wool and wool mixes very strong. The key fabrics were towards herringbone, Donegal and check designs mainly in lighter colours.

In contrast to the city casual styling, wool coats were also offered with functional aspects like loden and duffle coats. The fabric finishes were milled with slightly brushed surfaces and a soft handle.
