A new forum called Textrends will premier at next year’s ISPO MUNICH. The idea behind the show within the show is to have a platform for designers, product managers etc. who will get an overview over the latest trends in materials offered by suppliers to the industry for the following seasons.
The Textrends Forum 2013 will showcase the proposals of suppliers of fibers, fabrics, membranes, zippers and so on for the 2014-15 season.
The forum will be located in Hall C2 and will be organized in partnership with a trends expert, Louisa Smith. Every supplier can turn in up to five products from seven categories (base layers, second layers etc.) from which a jury consisting of designers, industry experts and journalists will pick a maximum of 60 products that will make it into the forum.
The project will be supported by various communication tools, including a trendbook.
