Dr. A.Sakthivel, President, TEA said he was disappointed with the RBI’s Mid Quarter Monetary Policy Review as there was no announcement on interest rate cut, which is a need of the hour and a major requirement for Tirupur knitwear exporting units to withstand the pricing pressures coming from all corners, and sustain in the global market.
Dr. A.Sakthivel added that the requisition for a Separate Chapter for Exports has also not been addressed in the review.
