Renzo Rosso, founder of the Italian design company Diesel, is all set to relaunch the Milan-based bohemian-chic clothing label Marni on foreign shores by buying controlling stakes in it, said Reuters.

Marni will become a part of Rosso’s holding group Only the Brave (OTB), which owns stakes in iconic brands like Diesel, Maison Martin Margiela, Viktor & Rolf, and Staff International, which manufactures and distributes apparels for DSquared2, Just Cavalli, Vivienne Westwood and Marc Jacobs Men.

Established in 1994, Marni specializes in a range of ready-to-wear clothing lines for men, women and children. The family-owned business currently operates more than 100 own outlets in Asia, Europe and the United States.

Founded in 1978, Diesel is known for luxury and pret-a-porter clothing aimed exclusively at the young adult market.
