ISPO informs that Daniel Hechter provides the apparel for the organizing committee of the 2006 Football World Cup.
The 600 men and women responsible for keeping the event moving without a hitch, will be clothed in the designer brand's outfits and suits.
“Millions of people from all over the world are fascinated by football. It was an exciting challenge for us to supply the men and women, who are critical to the smooth operation of the World Cup, with fashionable, elegant, and at the same time easy-to-wear outfits,” explains Stefan Aulbach, General Management Daniel Hechter.
Sport as a lifestyle has always been the focus of the European designer brand. Daniel Hechter himself as an active football fan was passionate about all types of sports and knew how to apply the popularity and energy of sports to his brand.
The designer not only ran his own football team during the Seventies, St. Germain in Paris, he was also the first fashion designer to introduce his own sport collection on the market.
