The Excellence in ENERGY STAR Outreach is given to a variety of organizations to recognize their efforts to improve energy efficiency and reduce pollution, resulting in significant cost savings. Award winners are selected from over 8,000 organizations that participate in the ENERGY STAR program.
Kathleen Hogan, Director of EPA's Climate Protection Partnerships Division, said, "Partners such as Sears are spreading the word about the importance of energy efficiency in all aspects of our lives."
