Wrangler, the American outdoor denim brand known for its stylish and comfortable, yet rugged denims is the official style partner for CEAT Mtv ‘Chase the Monsoon’, an on-air and digital property with an exciting 21 day biking road trip from Pondicherry to Mumbai.

The contestants will be styled in Wrangler’s stylish Water Repellent Denim, Tough Gear – Abrasion Resistant Denim and biking graphic tees as they ride from Pondicherry to Mumbai.

The 4 teams comprising of 8 bikers will share the experiences of their eventful journey online every day. To earn points and money for their journey contestants will have to perform tasks and interact with the social media audience to win their support. The points get doubled if you are in a particular city the day it rains.

These stylish Water Repellent denims from Wrangler protect the wearer from moderate rain, snow, muddy slush from puddles or tea spills during a stop at a highway dhaba. Moreover, these denims which are popular among India bikers can be washed easily as they are water repellent but not water proof. Once the denim is soaked in water it can be washed; and when ironed, the water repellency improves.

About Wrangler:

The heritage of Wrangler goes back literally a hundred years to 1904 when its original manufacturers - the Blue Bell Company was founded. Since then, Wrangler continues to inspire freedom, independence and self-reliance in its wearers.

Wrangler was the first modern day five pocket jeans to be test-fitted and endorsed by real-life cowboy rodeos. The brand in India has come a long way, from a cowboy image it has today truly evolved to an “Urban Cowboy” image which is contemporary, fashionable yet rugged.
