Fast Retailing Co announces that group company J Brand Japan Co will launch its first retail location in Japan on October 9. Approximately twenty square meters (6.5 Japanese tsubo), the store is located on the fourth floor women's section of the prestigious Osaka Hankyu Umeda Main Store.

The design of the new store is based on a clean and modern aesthetic, and it offers a wide range of the brand's stylish and sophisticated apparel, with a focus on denim. Beginning from this base, J Brand envisions expansion throughout Japan.

Commenting on the announcement, Jeff Rudes, J Brand Founder and CEO, said, "Partnering with Hankyu, a leading luxury retailer, for our first shop presence in Japan is an exciting strategic collaboration. We look forward to a very successful relationship."

Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, with global distribution, J Brand specializes in premium women's and men's denim, along with women's apparel. Founded by Rudes in 2005 and known for its fit, the brand has developed fabrics at the forefront of denim technology, with modern, clean and minimal design.

A global, established leader in women's and men's denim, the company has recently launched a casual wear line to complement the denim and the Ready to wear collection.

J Brand currently retails at more than 2,000 premium department stores and select shops across twenty countries worldwide.
