Mango gears up to launch its first plus-size line Violeta

After the formal announcement last year, the famous Barcelona-based international clothing brand Mango is finally going to launch its maiden plus-size venture titled Violeta by Mango.
 
The new line will be first introduced at the label’s online store, for European customers only, on January 15, 2014 and later a brick-and-mortar outlet, exclusively dedicated to the large-size label, would be unveiled in Barcelona on January 17, 2014. 
 
The range will also be available for sale in Mango’s major markets like Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Holland, Turkey and Russia, from January 17, 2014 onwards.
 
By the end of 2014, Mango plans to open about 100 stores, including stand-alone and shop-in-shop of around 350 sq m area each, dedicated to its yet-to-be-released new plus-size line. 
 
Created by a highly specialized team of nearly 40 experts in different disciplines of fashion and accessory design, the large-size clothing brand will be launched with an initial collection of over 400 on-trend, feminine and comfortable pieces in European sizes 42 to 50. 
 
Violeta by Mango’s opening will co-inside with the brand’s forthcoming launch of Spring/Summer 2014 mainline campaign.
 
Founded in 1984, Mango operates with a working staff of more than 12, 200 people.
