Tirupur based garment makers are excited as political parties will place bulk orders for T-shirts and vests with party symbol during upcoming Assembly election.
They are getting orders of more than 15,000 pieces a day, said sources.
Margin on these orders are very small as parties do not care about the quality of the fabrics because the usage period of the garment is very limited.
According to Tirupur Exporters Association (TEA), all manufacturers cannot take these kind of huge orders due to shortage of labour as well as capital.
