Free People, the American lifestyle retail company known for its bohemian-inspired womenswear, is prepping up to foray in the UK fashion market with its latest pre-fall collection.

Replete with cool edgy tomboyish style ethos, the western-inspired range is crafted from heavy fabrics such as leather, denim and chunky knits.

The collection includes menswear-inspired sweater jackets, shaggy knitwear, plaid skirts, jackets with metallic studs, fringed ponchos, embellished dresses, check cardigans and an array of rustic outerwear pieces.

The range has been unveiled with a coordinating campaign video, starring the South African fashion model and current face of the label Candice Swanepoel. Titled as A Day in the Life of Candice Swanepoel, the ad film showcases the 25-year-old posing before the camera in airy frocks and a variety of layered pieces from the new collection.

Founded in 1984, headquartered in Philadelphia, Free People is a part of American multinational clothing corporation Urban Outfitters which owns brands like Anthropologie, Terrain and BHLDN.
