Previously, David Rode spent 11 years with Milliken & Company, a winner of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and one of the world's largest privately-held textile, apparel and chemical manufacturers. Milliken is world-renowned for the quality of its technology research, logistics, innovation, and customer service. He held numerous sales and management positions at Milliken.
David Rode holds a BA in Economics from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, and an MBA with distinction from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia.
He replaces Daniel Harari, who was Acting President of Lectra North America during a transition period.
With 1,500 worldwide employees and $260 million in 2005 revenues, Lectra is the world leader in software, CAD/CAM equipment and related services dedicated to large-scale users of textiles, leather and industrial fabrics.
