Vietnam Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) recently launched a six–floor supermarket named Vinatex Plaza in Can Tho city.
Constructed on 2,000 square meter land, Vinatex Plaza is the biggest supermarket of VinatexMart in Western region Vietnam.
Vinatex Plaza will be joining hands with 800 suppliers to offer more than 30,000 products.
Currently, VinatexMart is preparing to set up a series of supermarkets in Rach Soi, Bac Lieu, Hau Giang and a depot at Hoa Phu industrial zone in Ving Long province.
Vinatex aims to develop VinatexMart system up to 80 supermarkets and showrooms to bring in VND3,200 billion per year ($200 million) and emerge as the leading retailer in Vietnam, by 2010
Vinatex, now, has 37 shops, 32 superstores, 6 high–class fashion supermarkets and 7 wholesale centers.
