Vishal Retail Ltd is planning to set up Rs10 crore garment factory with an estimated capacity of 5 lakh pieces per month, in Gurgaon where it already has a unit with capacity to produce 1.5 lakh garment pieces per month.
Vishal Retail, which has currently 34 Vishal Megamart stores all across the country, is targeting to open 200 new stores all across the country by 2010 by investing about Rs1200 crore.
The Group, which is about to open stores in Bapunagar, Gandhinagar, Surat and Rajkot, in Gujarat is also expanding to other cities like Nasik, Pune, Belgaum and Bangalore as well as to the state of Goa.
