Bentasa Apparels Pvt Ltd will establish ready-made garment (RMG) factory in Karnaphuli Export Processing Zone in Chittagong with an investment of US $703,000.
This proposed factory will generate around 1,210 job opportunities for local people with an annual production capacity of 2.5 million dozens garments offering wide range of shorts, swim wear, pants, woven boxer shirts and trousers, T-shirts, polo shirts and jackets.
Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) Member (Investment Promotion) Masud Ahmed and Managing Director Belayet Hossain of Bentasa Apparel signed lease agreements on September 21, 2006.
