Golf Galaxy Inc the interactive golf superstore offering everything for the Game announced plans to open four new stores in November.
The new stores, which will complete the company's current fiscal year expansion of 15 new stores, will broaden Golf Galaxy's presence in Colorado, North Carolina, and Texas, and include one store each in Westminster, Colo.; Winston-Salem, N.C.; Arlington, Texas; and Austin, Texas.
"We're pleased to complete our fiscal 2007 expansion by broadening our reach in areas of the country where we've already seen strong sales and strong growth potential," said Randy Zanatta, president and CEO of Golf Galaxy. "As the year comes to an end, we will have 65 stores across the country and will be well on our way to becoming the nation's leading golf specialty retailer."
According to Zanatta, Golf Galaxy plans to accelerate its expansion and open 16 to 18 new stores in its next fiscal year, which begins March 4, 2007, and expects 12 of those new stores to open in the spring of 2007.
