Kellwood completes acquisition of women's sportswear brand

Kellwood Company announced it has completed the purchase of the assets of CRL Group, LLC, owner of the Vince brand and trademark, according to Robert C. Skinner, Jr., Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Based in Southern California, Vince is a contemporary women's sportswear collection. Vince is sold at select specialty stores and luxury retailers such as Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Vince will operate as part of Kellwood's Western Region Division. Rea Laccone will continue as Chief Executive Officer and Christopher LaPolice as President of Vince.
