Prada partners Suntekstil for RMG production

Prada is going to form partnership with Izmir based Suntekstil for production of ready-made garments.
After seeking many companies in Izmir, Prada decided to enter in partnership with Suntekstil.
Suntekstil earns about US $60 million from exports and by selling fabrics and knitwear to Chloe and Armani.
In EU, production and labour cost is high and they mainly concentrate on fully-automated production of ready-to-wear clothing.
As EU is not suitable for labor-intensive work, Prada went to Turkey for its production.
