Dockers to partner with Kinetic & DraftFCB for Asia Pacific Division

The appointment of DraftFCB as the advertising agency for above-the-line campaign development for the Dockers San Francisco brand in the Asia Pacific Division aligns with the brand's decision in US and Europe.
“With a new global brand positioning, it is important that we work with a trusted partner that understands what the brand is about and how it resonates with our consumers. DraftFCB, which is already working with our brand team in US to develop the global communication, is a natural choice for us here in this region. With DraftFCB, we will also be able to leverage the global agency network,” said Smith.
“DraftFCB Singapore is delighted to further our partnership with Dockers San Francisco, which has its roots with DraftFCB San Francisco. We will work closely with DraftFCB San Francisco to roll out the global positioning and play and integral part in the emergence of a revitalized Dockers San Francisco brand in the Asia Pacific Division,” said Bhaskar Rao, Area Director S.E. Asia, DraftFCB.
The first campaign developed by the agency is the Spring/Summer 2007 print advertisements, which celebrate the essence of San Francisco lifestyle showing people in fun, carefree and everyday activities in San Francisco, with the spontaneity of the moment captured in a freeze frame. The campaign will roll out in the region from March 2007.
