On February 4 2007, Viet Tien Garment Company officially declared its conversion into Viet Tien Garment Export and Import Corporation (VTEC).
In 2006, export turnover of corporation stood at US $273 million, a hike of 8.6 percent compared to 2005.
During this occasion, General Director Nguyen Dinh Truong recieved the Labor Hero Award from the Government .
VTEC mainly deals in various business activities such as garment manufacturing, trade of machineries, materials, accessories etc.
