Viettien to sell 4 mn shares

Viettien Garment Export and Import Corporation (VTEC), one of the leading garment manufacturers in Vietnam, has recently planned to sell four million shares to public as a step of its equitization.

The Ho Chi Minh City based VTEC has partnered with two foreign companies named South Island Garment SDN BHD, the export oriented garment manufacturing company from Malaysia and Tung Shing Sewing Machine Co Ltd, which provides garment machinery and accessories to dealers, trading firms and garment factories in Hong Kong, China, ASEAN countries, Middle East and other European countries from Hong Kong.

VTEC plans to invest around VND 100 billion for several projects during 2008 and 2009.
