Total revenues for the 39-week period ended September 29, 2007 were $4.031 billion compared to $4.059 billion for the same period last year, a decrease of 0.7%. Same store sales decreased 0.1%.
Net earnings for the first nine months, including unusual items, were $170.1 million or $1.58 per share compared to $44.1 million or 41 cents per share for the same period last year. Net earnings for the nine months, excluding unusual items, were $102.9 million or 96 cents per share compared to $60.6 million or 56 cents per share for the same period last year.
