IAF meetings of Executive Committee, Board, General Assembly, Technical Committee, GSR Committee and Education Committee at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Maastricht (for IAF members only)
Delegate Registration:
In the evening a welcome reception at the historic town hall of Maastricht, followed by a dinner for all participants.
Thursday October 30:
Official opening of the 24th IAF World Apparel Convention at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Maastricht. Plenary sessions on the following themes
• How will the new generation of consumers shape fashion?
a. The Internet and fashion tribes. How they can make or break a brand?
b. Disposable fashion and the rise of luxury goods sales
c. Ethical and corporate social responsibility
d. Young consumers and environmental concerns
• How will technology shape the future?
a. Smart textiles, nanotechnology
b. Information technology, mass customization & logistics
c. Internet connectivity, internet based apparel solutions (PLM etc)
In the evening all convention participants will be offered a gala dinner/buffet
