Clothing price falls in November CPI

In November, consumer price index (CPI) was up by 6.9 percent over the same month last year. Of which, urban area and rural area rose 6.6 and 7.6 percent respectively.

The price of non-foodstuff, consumable and services expanded 1.4, 8.4 and 2.3 percent respectively. CPI made 0.7 percent growth over that in October.

The price of clothing was down by 1.4 percent year-on-year. Of which, the price of garment dropped 1.4 percent. The price of durable consumer goods rose by 0.9 percent, and that of household services and upkeep surging 9.1 percent.

From January to November, the general level of CPI increased 4.6 percent year-on-year.
