Lojas Renner sees growth of 22% on net revenues

LOJAS RENNER S.A one of the three largest apparel department store chains in Brazil, announces its 2007 results. The full version of the Management Report is available .

Net Revenues from Merchandise Sales reported a year-on-year growth of 22.0% totaling R$ 1,751.7 million. Gross Profit from Merchandise Sales followed the same trend by posting R$ 810.2 million, with gross margin of 46.2% in the period.

EBITDA for the year reached R$ 286.0 million, a growth of 55.1% over the R$ 184.4 million for the preceding year; EBITDA Margin increased from 12.8% in 2006 to 16.3% in 2007.

Lojas Renner reached a nationwide footprint of 95 stores, with 14 inaugurations throughout the year.

The Renner Card accounted for 67.2% of total Company sales in 2007. The Company posted a total of 12 million cards issued with an average.

Together, interest on equity paid in December and the proposed dividends, subject to approval at the GSM, will total R$ 116.9 million, corresponding to 75% of adjusted net income.
