G-III Apparel posts Q4 & full year fiscal 2010 results

Outlook The Company is forecasting net sales of approximately $135 million for its first fiscal quarter ending April 30, 2010, compared to $107.6 million in last year's first fiscal quarter. The Company is also forecasting a net loss between $3.3 million and $4.3 million, or between $0.18 and $0.23 per share, compared to a net loss of $6.8 million, or $0.41 per share, in last year's first fiscal quarter. The weighted average shares outstanding for the first quarter are forecasted to increase to 18.7 million from 16.7 million in last year's first quarter, primarily due to the sale by the Company of approximately 1.9 million shares in a public offering in December 2009. The first quarter historically results in seasonal losses for the Company.
